How AudioVerde handles your information. We keep things simple and transparent.
Last updated: October 11, 2026
01 — Who we are
AudioVerde™ is an audio engineering studio operated by American Internet Inc, Austin, Texas, USA. American Internet Inc is the controller (the “business” under California law) of personal information handled through this website.
You can reach us at audioverde.aii@gmail.com for any privacy question or request.
02 — Information we handle
This site has no user accounts. We handle only the following categories of information:
- Emails and briefs you send us. When you email us or use the Contact page, the form opens your own email client with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent to us until you send that email. We then receive what you choose to include, typically your name, email address, and the details of your project.
- Payment and billing details. When you engage a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details and billing information directly; we receive only limited transaction data such as your name, email address, plan, and payment status. We never see or store your full card number.
- Scheduling details. When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, our scheduling provider. Calendly collects the name, email address, and any notes you enter when booking, and shares the appointment details with us so we can prepare for the call.
- Marketing attribution data. Links we share may include UTM parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign) that identify which campaign or channel brought you to the site. When you arrive through such a link, these parameters may be recorded with your enquiry so we can understand which outreach is useful.
- A consent preference stored in your browser. If you answer the cookie notice, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key “audioverde-cookie-consent”. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Hosting and technical logs. The platform that hosts this site may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request time to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use this data to profile visitors.
03 — How we use information
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals, deliver services you request, and keep records of our correspondence. We use payment data to process and administer your plan, scheduling data to arrange and prepare for calls, attribution data to measure which campaigns are effective, the consent preference only to remember your choice, and hosting logs only for delivery, security, and troubleshooting.
Plans are arranged and billed through Stripe, and calls are booked through Calendly. Any billing details you provide are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy, not stored on this website.
04 — Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:
- Consent, where you choose to contact us or record a cookie preference.
- Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of a contract, when you ask about or buy our services.
- Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving a small studio website and responding to enquiries, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation, where we must keep records or respond to lawful requests.
05 — Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Our current service providers include:
- Stripe, which processes payments and billing for paid plans.
- Calendly, which handles call scheduling and appointment details.
- Our email provider, which carries the messages you send us.
- The platform that hosts this site, which delivers the site and keeps it secure.
06 — California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain about you.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
07 — How to submit a request
Email audioverde.aii@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us which right you wish to use. We may ask for details to verify your identity before acting. We aim to respond within 45 days, or sooner where the law requires.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask for written proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf and may still need to verify your identity with you directly.
08 — Texas privacy rights (TDPSA)
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives you the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
- Correct inaccuracies in personal data we hold about you.
- Delete personal data you have provided to us or that we have obtained about you.
- Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal data, run targeted advertising, or carry out such profiling, so there is nothing to opt out of.
09 — How to exercise your Texas rights
To exercise any of these rights, email audioverde.aii@gmail.com with the subject “Texas privacy request” and describe the right you wish to use. We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request, and we may extend that period once by a further 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you why.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Appeal”. We will review the appeal and respond in writing within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General's office.
We may ask for information needed to authenticate your request and to verify your identity before acting. We do not charge a fee to process a request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
10 — Your rights under GDPR / UK GDPR
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification).
- Have your data erased in certain circumstances.
- Restrict how we process your data.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
11 — Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, such as your national data protection authority in the EEA or the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom. California residents may also contact the California Attorney General or the California Privacy Protection Agency.
12 — International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. If you contact us from the EEA or the UK, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
13 — Data retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a client relationship or a legal obligation requires us to keep records longer. Your cookie consent preference stays in your browser until you clear your browser storage. Hosting logs are kept by the host according to its own retention schedule.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.
14 — Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this site, limited access to our email account, and keeping stored information to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15 — Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
16 — Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run cross-site tracking. Our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request, though there is nothing to opt out of.
17 — Cookies & local storage
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only item this site stores in your browser is a local-storage entry that records your cookie notice choice. Our payment and scheduling providers (Stripe and Calendly) may set their own cookies when you use their checkout or booking pages; those are governed by their own policies. You can delete the local-storage entry at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings; the notice may then appear again.
18 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will revise the date below, and we will note material changes on this page.
